Yay, Toradora! My only question about the anime choices is: Why all drama/slice of life/romancey types? Would've been nice to break it up a bit. Not that i'm particularly complaining, I just thought it's an odd choice for pulling new people to them.

Toradora and Kannagi are both pretty good. Haven't seen any Hyakko but it sounds interesting, so I might have to give that a look.

It's a good point, but I think the lineup is fine. Toradora is not really slice-of-life and much more about drama than comedy. Hyakko on the other hand is not really about the drama. Also Hyakko is only 13 eps, it's a way to make sure that Ride Back continues it's good form before we commit to screening it. Fridays has always been a bit random. We're screening Kannagi because it's hilarious. I would have liked to screen it Thursday bit it has a bit too much service and too many industry jokes to be shown to people new to anime. Remember that Tuesday and Thursday have to be for everyone.

Technically, we start our screening at 1pm but there's nothing stopping you from coming at an earlier time (unless said obstacle is a class of some sort).

Hi. I used to be in an Anime Club. Still watching anime too although I am working now. Just letting you know that it will be great to have Saturdays screenings too unless you want to have late screenings on Fridays after 7ishpm...
Hope there will be Saturdays ones...if not, I'll be missing out the fun...

we don't really know if there are people willing to give up their saturdays for the club (as in, to look after the screening). also the weekend is the only time a lot of us can catch up with uni work

Yeah, unfortunately we'd prolly have to pay for saturdays. Unless the club gets a lot of money fast, prolly not... xD

get members to pay if they want saturday screenings. i dunno why people would want to come to uni 6 days a week though (assuming you're not in arts or commerce or something like that *cough*)
