Finally we bring to you the news that many of you have been waiting for all this time; Manifest's date and venue for 2006:

Date: September 22, 23 and 24
Where: Melbourne University
We apologise for the lateness of the announcement and please understand that the reasons behind it were venue issues not entirely in our control and we wanted desperately to make sure that once more you, the fans, get what you've come to expect from Manifest over the years plus more!

Now that you know the date, you can start your plans for the Manifest weekend. To help with this, we have re-opened the Manifest forums and if you have any questions regarding volunteering, registration, competitions, accomodation, events and anything else you might have in mind, come along.

Lastly, we'd just like to mention that the date for the T-shirt, AMV and Iron Chef competitions have now been extended till the 31st of August, so get working on those submissions!

Oops. Didn't see this. I recall hearing that usage of Peppa-chan (the mascot) would be accepted, but about existing manga/anime characters, I'm really not sure... if the rules don't state it explicitly, you may want to email the coordinator for more information ... {Their email should be on the site }

Just me your friendly Manifest Registration Co-ordinator here to remind you all that Pre-registration will soon come to a close. The date for closure will by 28th July which is only another 12 days away. Make sure to have you rego forms signed and posted!

$9 discount to Manifest for the Weekend, so $18, Providing you pre-register BEFORE 4th August.
