Was it good tho'?

Coz like, seriously, I saw the ads and stuff... and I can't take Aston Kutcher seriously, coz I'd be like, thinking he'd be going up to the camera and say "you're PUNK'D~!!!" or something like that... but seriously... after listening to his interviews and his commentaries on some of his movies, I just cannot take him seriously...

So does this movie change that?

I didn't actually make the connection between him and punk'd until a comment scott made afterwards. ^^; But he was freaking awesome in the movie.

I thought it was brilliant. I've never received so many shocks when watching a movie before, it threw me around 4 or 5 times. And some of the things it deals with, you're just like, shit, i can't believe they actually used those themes in such a widely released film.

All these little 16 year olds or something were watching it at the packed out session i went to with scott last night, they shouldn't have been watching it. I found it hard to take, and that's rare for me watching a film. One girl kept walking out crying because parts were too brutal.

I can't say it was a "good" or a "great" movie, because it was just so dark. But it was brilliant. I don't think I could ever see it again.

I don't want to hype it up too much in case it lets you down, but I hope you both enjoy it! It's one hell of a ride.

Just saw it...
Okay.. he was not too bad...... except for the actiony bit... like at the end where he was running... it was like.. I thought I saw a smile on his face..... but.. besides that.
I thought it was a good movie..... good concept... but I didn't really like the "hollywood ending" twist to it...

Similar to Donnie Darko, I thought.... just the ending kinda "blahed" me out... :p

to be honest i don't actually remember the ending :O

*thinks and thinks*
oooh... i remember the very last bit. and this is a spoiler forum so discuss the end freely; i'm just glad he didn't get the girl. if he had it would have been a let down. i think it was a nice kind of lesson; sometimes you have to put the needs of others before your own in order to let the people you love be happy.

Yeah.. but you know it's still a sorta "happily ever after" kind of ending you know, so it just felt so hollywood.
Have you seen Donnie Darko? It's pretty much the same concept but the I have more satisfaction with the ending.

No, Donnie Darko is a real Mind F*#k.

Butterfly Effect is cool, but after watching it, that ending was ... well ... I've already edited my original comments.
